          Candidates are submitting nomination papers in Dhaka



After the finalization of the party nominations, the candidates of the main political parties started submitting the nomination papers to the Returning Officer's office all over the country. Candidates are submitting their nomination papers from the office of Divisional Commissioner from Dhaka in the morning.

In the Segunbagichaya Dhaka Divisional Commissioner KM Ali Azam, the candidates of 15 parliamentary constituencies in the capital are submitting the nomination papers. 20 candidates from two in the morning submitted the nomination papers for different seats.
So far, two candidates of Awami League and a candidate of Bangladesh's Workers Party submitted nomination papers among the main political parties. Of course, these candidates will vote for the boat symbol as the 14-party candidates.

Workers Party Chief and Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon submitted the nomination papers for the Dhaka-8 constituency in the morning, Saber Hossain Chowdhury, MP of Dhaka-9 constituency and Kamal Ahmed Majumder of Dhaka 15 seats.
According to the Code of Conduct, there are provisions for submission of nomination papers with maximum 5 people. But many candidates do not believe it.


Rashid Khan submitted the nomination papers, said BNP is conspiring to foil the vote. But there will be a vote.

Saber Hossain said, hopefully there will be peaceful and participatory voting.
