US ambassador to the US embassy William Moller said that the United States will send 12 observers teams to monitor Bangladesh's election. Each team will have two observers. They will monitor elections in most places of the country. Moller further said, "We welcome the government's plan for free and fair elections. We are also expecting such elections and funding election observers. "

Moller said, "There was a complaint of harassment and intimidation in the last city corporation elections, which is believed to be responsible for reducing the voter turnout. Hope this will not be repeated in this year's national election.

The United States National Democratic Institute said in a report on Bangladesh's election in October, this year the elections will be held in political polarization, tension and heat. William Moller said that a delegation of 30 people will send a delegation to Bangkok based Asian Network for Free Election.
